I have done another drawing of her before, but I can't remember if I ever uploaded on here. She had non magical mane before, and I decided that made no since she an alicorn. While trying to find some inspo for her mane, I found out that people almost never give their alicorn oc's a magical mane. It's like why even bother making an alicorn, if you aren't going to take advantage of all the possibilities?
Then again, Charon doesn't really have a magical mane either, but that just made more sense for the character since he is a foal/ghost god.
Back to Radiance. She is from the same story concept as Charon, but plays a much bigger role than he does. In a future where all alicorns seemingly have disappeared, a young unicorn gives birth to a pair of twin alicorns. Radiance is one of them, along with her brother Nebula.
Radiance grows up to be unsure of her role as a queen. She doesn't feel fit to rule, too much of temper for starters. She is a bit of hedonist, and enjoys things like cider, jewelry, and her many lovers. She eventually finds her role as the leader of the Equestrian army, while her brother takes care of most of the ruling the kingdom.
Her cutiemark represents her talent of raising the sun along with giving hope to her people through her presence. She is fierce fighter and tactician.
