Lust by ScruffPuff (critique requested)

Lust (critique requested)

ScruffPuff

Originally, the theme of this piece wasn't Lust. As I worked on this, I realized that it didn't feel right to use a friend, and I became mindful of how I've objectified him (and others) as muses and sex symbols.

I'm fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to get to know him a little better over the past year - so now I feel this piece stands as both a tribute to him and as a snapshot of my ever growing views.

Oh gosh - this is crushingly beautiful. I love the textures.

I love the balance of colors you've got going here as well as the textures of the fur and soap bubbles. You've got an excellent eye for these things!

Only critique I have is that the leg seems to be rising out of the water at an odd angle and appears disproportionally small compared to the rest of the piece and at the perspective established by the top half.

However, overall you've really captured the idea of objectification and lust without showing too much. I love the "less-is-more" approach you've taken here.
