Doin' my Character Drawcember challenge on Tumblr (http://laurenwallaceart.tumblr.com), here's a piece I just finished up of one of my antagonists.

Cassandra isn’t some big bad apocalyptic villain, but she is rather a jerk.
The dragons inhabit on their own continent and study their own secret magics. Outsiders are forbidden from entering their country, and their culture is very elitist. Cass’s parents sent her to a faraway mixed magic school outside of the dragon country in hopes that she could mingle with other species and make friends and not fall victim to the classic dragon xenophobia/elitism combo. Unfortunately this doesn’t end up the case, she was already infected with a bad attitude and gets a kick out of screwing with her classmates for amusement. Really bad person, really manipulative.
