The Commissar by Domnul Eduard

The Commissar

Domnul Eduard

A short story about one of Communism's greatest atrocities ever made seen through the eyes of one forced to commit it.

I wrote this some time ago, thought I should share it.

Enjoy!

There's two things I can add here.

First: from the historical distance, it seems funny how oligo-capitalism is doing basically the same thing as holodomor, only at a bit slower rate.

Second: it would give story a magnificent ending if you could add a contrasting scene in a more modern-day Soviet Union, where an elderly commissar teaches his children the other kind of history, how the past is forgotten and only the strongest survives.
