Spero was abandoned very young and has been miraculously managing to survive on her own up to this point. She lacks much of a personality, or vocal capability, and has a habit of just standing around staring into space as a lot of automatonic Kaos do.

Thus far, her only encounter with humans or the outside world was a bad one. Travelers discovered her standing in the forest, mistaking her for some sort of illusion or other-worldly being. Her stillness and the darkness of her eyes terrified them. They tried to get her to flee through an attack, leaving her with a mangled ear and merely a stub for a tail. They were too disturbed by her presence to stick around. She was shortly found by Sugar, who took her back to Carnival before anything worse could happen to her.

Some other info tidbits:
Spero has a balanced diet, though she always seems to eat things that are small and easy to chew.
Spero likes to do things with her hands. Some of the older Kaos in Carnival are trying to teach her how to make things, such as small articles of clothing and little accessories to wear.
