Rina looked at the small Kitten curled up against her stomach sleeping, her eyes soft. Rain poured outside the window and thunder boomed, but the kitten didn't stir. A first aid kit lay on Rina's bed. The kitten had a ghastly wound over her left eye. She sighed. What a beautiful kitten. It's a shame she had to suffer through this, Rina thought to herself. She nuzzled the little kitten's stomach, and she stirred. "What should I name you little one?" Rina whispered. The little kitten half opened her eye and looked at Rina. She squeaked softly, and Rina's heart melted. Suddenly, she had an idea. "Ricochet. I'll name you Ricochet.

basically ricochet is parted from her mom (who dies, rip) and her brother, and Rina (the other cat in the picture) finds her while on a walk. also, ricochet was swept into the ocean and washed up on the shore of like england
