They're such meanies!!! And yeah, after being kinda hurt by other artists, I started to pay attention more to the ones who follow me. I didn't wanna hurt anyone like they hurt me. >:T

Of course! <3 I care very much about all of you. <3 Generally, I like to try and show I care towards artists I follow, too, but I haven't gotten quite the same response. ;A; It can be kinda discouraging, and I would hate to make anyone else feel that way!

Some big artists just don't have the time to go through messages i suppose, but that's what I like about weasyl. I noticed that I get the same amount of attention as some really good artists. Most people just skim through it and look, don't really bother commenting unless it's about them. I agree that it's very discouraging, but some artists aren't the friend-type. I would say that 50% are about as social offline as we are online. So they just have Professional relationships. I'm actually really glad that I could find someone like you on weasyl, you actually remind me of a friend i had on dA (all my friends dumped me once i left) and it's been really enjoyable to read your comic c:

I'm so sorry about your friends dumping you like that! That's the kind of thing that really makes me upset. ;3; I do have relationships and social stuff outside of the internet, but I still feel I owe it to be kind to all of you willing to look at my work and even remotely care enough to hit a button or say something nice. <3 It makes me feel so happy and thought of!
Unfortunately, it wasn't really the people that just looked and disappeared, but rather, some of those people will get so popular that they'll get somewhat corrupt and be mean to others just because they have many nice people being nice towards them, and those are the people that made me leave DA. ;3; I would say nice wonderful things to them, I would donate to them, give them random presents and fanart, but when I was the one in trouble, I got a nose thrown in the air "you're just using me" attitude and yelled at and scolded... ;3;

It's totally fine, it's happened before and I just stopped getting attached :/ I do believe weasyl is a better community though, since at least my watchers watched this account now too, in deviantart no one would even glimpse at anything I did. I'm actually getting views and favourites and people asking me for requests, it's amazing. People appreciate even a small button being pressed, and that's just how good this community is. I remember on deviantart people were like "Favourites are dumb, they're nothing unless you comment" etc.
Well yeah, the ones that just come and go, you don't really know they're there, so how are you to do anything. The corrupt ones are just blah, but I know one super famous person on deviantart that loved to talk to anyone. BehindTG/TamrinFrog? She did some pokemon comics too. That's totally rude, like I have no idea why anyone would do that. I understand that power can make you do lots of things, but if they'd just not than that'd be great.
I already made a promise to myself that if I got too big to handle it, I would tell people. I would let them know. Maybe I'd do a big journal with comments and questions that are said/asked many times, just so they could be answered. But I always wanted people to know that they are welcomed by me, because it makes me feel happy inside. It makes me feel better even after any crap I've gone through.
In fact have you heard of 7Cups? It's an anonymous site for getting help (ranging from just a talk to depression and relationship advice) I'm a listener on there, and it's really made my mood better by actually having people tell me that they feel better, they go from an 8 to a 2 after talking to me (10 is worst) and it brings me joy to bring others joy. I'm not trying to make it sound like advertising, but it's amazing the feeling the Listeners (counselors) get after helping someone.

Those popular artists that let it get to their heads...I really wish they would just look at things from someone elses shoes sometimes, that's all. Hahaha ^^
