I'm toying with the idea of going to Midwest Furfest this year. I really want to go but there are several things that might make it difficult.

Primary concern is not only being able to afford it but having a room to stay in. I've never attended the con before but would like to go if I can afford it. I should be in my new apartment by then but I don't know if I'll be living by myself or with a new roommate so finances might be thin.

Second, I'm not even sure if I could request that time off with it being just 3 weeks after Anime Nebraskon. I attend Nebraskon yearly and it feels more like a home con then Anime Iowa does so cancelling Nebraskon is a no. To add to it, I'm involved with the Nebraskon pokemon league as a gym leader and I really don't want to have to back down again like I did last year.

So...main concerns....

1: Finances- alot of this depends on my living situation at the time

2: hotel room- Is anyone willing to put up with me for a weekend? :D

3: Time constraints- Can I get the weekend off so soon after Nebraskon?

Ugh, I want to go. I really do! T.T But if I can't go this year, I'll aim for next year.....though this year would be awesome! :D
