Well, I figure I can try this again...mostly cause I'm expecting a slow day today for once.
Ask me your questions, I'll give you answers.
Hmm...I remember when I was younger going gift shopping with my mom. I also remember NO SCHOOL!
But I also remember having to be in Christmas pageants at church and in choir and bell choir too.
Probably the best "standout" memory was one Christmas morning opening my presents and seeing the old He-Man Castle Greyskull...which I had gone with my mom to actually GET, so it was then that I learned that Santa didn't bring gifts. So both a positive memory (favored gift) but a bad (innocence lost).
Is there anything your family does for food this time of year that's a little unusal?
I used to do a gingersnap, brown sugar and mustard crusted ham. Sprayed it down lightly with bourbon every 15 minutes
It's a bit much to do these days for just 2 people though.

Do you have that one stand out memory of something as a kid around this time of year? I remember we had shut off all the christmas lights and had a roaring fire in the fireplace and just kinda sat in the dark enjoying the ambiance and such. It was so peaceful and nice :3
