Serious talk:
Okay, so, not a lot of people know this, but before I was a student, I was on a $200 governmental stipend per month for food (for those in the States, yes, that's food stamps). Because I'm receiving financial aid as a student, I'm no longer eligible for those kinds of benefits unless I'm also working 30 hours per week on top of the 50-60 hours I'm putting in as a student. I have actually done all of the math to an extensive degree, going so far as taking into consideration how long it takes me to eat, use the bathroom, get dressed in the morning, shower, and so on, and that would leave me with around 28 minutes per day to do things like spending time with my boyfriends, and that's only if I shave off two hours of sleep every night. So, unless I suddenly find the blueprints for a time machine, that wouldn't be possible. Now, I have spoken to my financial advisor in the school, and while they can't help me any more than they already have, come the spring term, I'll be trying to get a job in the school store, which is a maximum of 20 hours per week, and I'd be getting only minimum wage, but at least that's something. Unfortunately, spring term starts in March of next year, which means I'm in serious need of help in the meantime.

I did consider setting up another Indiegogo campaign like I did when I needed to get my wisdom tooth out earlier this year. While that was successful and I was able to get my tooth out and pay for the medication I needed afterward, Indiegogo is more of a one time expense kind of thing. So, I have been considering setting up a Patreon to help in the meantime, though I still need to do a lot of figuring things out before I could go forward with that. Mainly that fact that, if you have anything of an adult nature on your Patreon, you can't link it to PayPal, only to your bank account, and I currently don't have an actual bank account and operate my finances solely through PayPal. I'm currently looking into other payment types (square cash, google wallet, and so on) and if I can find something promising, I'm considering the Patreon option. I know that I'm more known as a porn artist, and I'm fine with that, but because of that, I want to be able to supply to any possible patrons what they would expect from me.

If I do set it up, it would be for things like art supplies, food, and most importantly a computer dedicated 100% to school related work. I honestly don't need anything super fast and fancy like a hardcore gaming laptop, I just need something that can run the Adobe suite. Granted, the Adobe suite is as stable as a thatch hut in the middle of a monsoon, so I would need something good enough to do that. It wouldn't be used for personal art, music, video stuff, writings, or anything like that, it would be purely for school and travel. Aside from art supplies, the laptop, and food, the rest if the funds (if any) would go into savings, as my boyfriend and I are planning to move to another state hopefully around this time next year.

Serious questions:
I know this is kind of a pandering question, but it is paramount to my decision as to whether or not I'll set it up - if I were to set this up, would I be able to count on anyone to pledge to it? The only reason I'm asking is because I won't set it up if there's no interest. If there is, then I'll do it.

Next question - if I were to set up a Patreon, what kinds of things would you like to see? Obviously, being a student, I won't have all that much time do dedicate to any large projects, but I need your input to figure out what kinds of tiers I should have.

Final note - I will NOT be making it so that my art is behind a paywall. I have ZERO respect for artists who do that. Considering my intentions as an art student are to either make the art for MtG cards or D&D books, meaning that my art will be available for anyone and everyone no matter what, making a paywall for my furry porn is just stupid anyway.

So...thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions?

I'm not doing terribly well financially myself, but I'm sure I could find an extra coupla bucks to spare for your patreon!

I use Square, and got rid of PayPal, myself. Payments and invoices are easy, plus, they take off less of a percentage from your sales than PayPal does. I can't say much more than that, because I haven't used it extensively, but from the few transactions I did do with it, it's a very good service.

I hope things get better! I'll keep an eye out for what you decide

I know this isn't necessarily what you want to hear, but, I thought I'd throw in a comment as well since you've only received one so far x.x

I would love to help out, but in my current situation... That'd be about as irresponsible as you trying to back someone else's patreon. "Broke Furries" seems to be an all-too-common thing =/

I wish you luck, though. If I were in a better position to help, I would.
