A poem about spiders. by LarkspurDragon

Little miss Muffet
Sits on a tuffet
Eating her curds and whey.
Along comes a spider
Who sits down beside her
And says that he wanted to play.
Miss Muffet, surprised,
Finds her book which comprised
All the spiders she's noticed that day.
"It's a bit hairy,
Though not very scary,
And it is a lovely light gray."
The spider looks up
Like a little kicked pup
And says that he could go away.
"Save your apology,
I'm in ecology.
You are quite welcome to stay,"
Miss Muffet replies
With a smile in her eyes,
And offers a little parfait.
So they sit and commune
Until well after noon
On the hill overlooking the bay.

A poem about spiders.

I was kind of expecting an ending where the spider bit her because venomous/dangerous to humans lol but I like it!
