Before I get to anything concerning work and art I have an important story to share with everyone who has the time to listen.

The prior Friday while getting off the bus after seeing a friend's orchestral concert, 6 friends and I were waiting for the bus to move so we could cross the street. A young man about mid 20's tapped me on the shoulder and asked me verbatim, "Did you say fuck Jah?" I heard him but it really didn't process that he had sounded very upset but answered him plain and simply no. He proceeded to ask again as I turned slightly confused but this time he grabbed me by my collar and scarf, I didn't think to push him of on impulse yet I should have. Feeling threatened as he again asked the same question only this time fuming and raising a fist as if to swing at me. Jorge whom I had just met that night stepped in between the stranger and I telling him to calm down and back off. He told us to apologize and say we love Jah before he let me go and grabbed Jorge. I stood close by ready to defend Jorge just as he had done for me but before anything had escalated he pushed him off and we quickly and cautiously crossed the street.

No one was hurt but we continued to turn around to check if he had been following us, he never did. He happened to be homeless and possibly mentally ill since what he had been asking is if I had said, "Fuck god." (Jah is the Rastafarian term for god). I am not one to cuss in public nor blatantly exclaim religious segregation. Things are fine now and the police report we made was never finished as the police never showed up to take our report; they decided to try at 4 am when I was asleep 6 hours after we called about the incident.

Concerning art I am still working on my list in order and I just had my first 8 hour shift last Monday, this is my first real work week and to be honest I'm already tired. Though I am determined to get through work and support my fox in Seattle. Living together is an experience were loving but with the freedom comes responsibilities. Just like everyone else food, rent, internet, and everything in between isn't free but being an adult isn't all its cracked up to be! I Appreciate those of you who take the time to read/skim my journals, thank you for your time. <3

With overwhelming love,

Thanks for the support and it was really more a scare than anything I completely agree. I'm not used to the whole city life thing yet but I'm not going to let anyone grab a hold of me like that again, surreal but it put a few things in perspective for me. I'm glad I'm working and that I'm okay too! <3
