Origin of the KaoKaos
KaoKaos are a creature I originally conceived back around September of 2012 as a mass produced avatar on the game Second Life under mine and Box's store, Luminotic.

I recognize the fact these already exist in another way may conflict with the idea of a species art group where you can adopt designs or rights to design your own. For that reason, Second Life KaoKao designs will be considered illegal among this group. If you so choose, you are more than welcome to use the COLOR PALETTES from these old designs, but you CAN NOT USE THEIR EXACT MARKING PATTERNS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
*You ARE allowed to post SL related KaoKao stuff (belongs in the "other works" folder) but these rules still apply regarding the design of the Kao itself.

What's the difference between a Normal KaoKao and an Alpha KaoKao?

Is there a world for this species?
There is an origin place for this species. Check the [Species Resources] for info on it!
I have completely decided, however, that you ARE allowed to let these guys adventure out of this designated area/world, under certain conditions of course:
-First and foremost, you can not claim you created the species, regardless if you created the character design.
-You are not allowed to use this species in anything for any sort of monetary gain or commercial use. (taking commissions of the species is perfectly okay!!)
-Please do try to keep the characters to their official guidelines set by this group and it's rules (no gaining mutations or powers unless under specific circumstances such as a fantasy setting like video games or something...)

Can I give my character clothes/accessories/etc?
Yes! You're more than welcome to give your Kaos clothing or jewelry or anything else really!

Can KaoKaos have facial hair/How long can their head hair be?
It's been decided that, yes they can have facial hair! Also their head hair can be of any length basically!

Can I pair my Kaos with my own/with others'/other species chars?
Of course! Just no forced pairs without each others' permission okay? >:C
Remember: Kaos cannot cross breed also! No hybrids through any methods unless myself or Boxwolf have allowed it! (fusions for fun are fine but only for fun and non-canon please!!)

Are mature works of this species and related characters allowed?
While I do not mind some, such as gore, and some tame intimate situations if you so desire.. Please, do not publicly go beyond this as the group may have younger members or people who do not appreciate it and even find it repulsive. You may post it elsewhere with the proper credits of course or just keep it completely under wraps. We appreciate you respecting our wishes regarding this.
