Some of you may remember the journal I posted a few weeks ago announcing that I was going to be away for a while. I finally got a few moments to sit down and put an update. This is meant to be more of an "I'm alive" journal than a deep look at what I'm up to. So, I apologize for the lack of depth.

First off, I'm ok and doing well. Nothing Earth-shattering or life-threatening is going on. I've been putting out job applications and dealing with some personal issues regarding my current employer. (A lack of hours has been a common issue for a number of employees.) This has been a fairly time-consuming process and I simply haven't been available at the usual locations. (Streams, chats, Skype, etc.) Before anyone sets out and starts worrying, I'm finding a new job while still working at the current one. I may not be pleased with my current employer, but I'm not the sort to foolishly put myself in a situation where I have no income. In any case, this absence will likely continue for a few more weeks.

In an unrelated update, the "How To Furry" project isn't dead. I want to continue it, but haven't been able to for reasons that you can probably guess. To be honest, I'm kind of curious if people are still interested in this. Has anyone made use of the previous version at all?

So, on a final note, I'm looking forward to the fall. Honestly, it's one of my favorite seasons. Over the last couple years I developed a habit of putting out journals near Halloween with scary stories. I think that this tradition will have to continue this year, in some form or another.
