No (neither tobacco nor anything else). I also have asthma and can't be around smoke generally.

Tell me your username and where I might know you from ("I'm such-and-such from FA"). Please don't be offended if we've met before and I have no freaking clue who you are. I'm not good with remembering names/faces I've only seen briefly at a con once or twice before. Plus I expect to be stressed out or busy half the time, so I will need lots of slack cut for me. >_<

As far as how to address me, I'm fine with Renee, PT, my lady, or Madam President, whatever you're comfortable with, though response times will be faster with the first two options. ;)

Rules of engagement (physical contact)?
Only if I initiate it, please. Hugging, to me, is for family/close friends (like, if you've been to my house). Otherwise, I'm cool with verbal greetings and good-byes.

How can I find you?
Check my schedule. I'm supposed to be somewhere for most of the con. >^_^< Otherwise, I'm probably in the Dealers Den at my table (#17, sharing with Jess E. Owen aka CopperGryphon). Assuming there's signal in the Dealers Den, I'll try to post to my Twitter account when I'm going to be at the table for longer than a few minutes.

Assuming we share a language in common, yes.

Uh... as long as there are no obligations involved, sure! But mostly I'd rather you buy stuff at my table.

Sure, as long as it isn't con crud or something I can't fit on the plane.

Okay? I mean, you know, selfie at the dealer's table or whatnot is fine, but this is starting to sound a little stalkerish. ;)

How do I know if you're not looking to socialize (angry, busy or upset)?
If I'm wearing headphones, don't bother me; that means that, for whatever reason, I need to be in a bubble of isolation/concentration/decompression. Otherwise, if I really don't want to socialize, I'll either say I have to get going to somewhere (which is probably true and no offense meant) or I'll be in my room. I am a major introvert and will need time to recharge throughout the con, which is one reason I won't be at any of the late panels. It's not you; it's me. >^_^<

What's your goal for the con this year?
To not embarrass myself in public somehow? That's not exactly a goal as much as a fervent hope, though... Mostly I guess it boils down to meet people, make connections, promote my work generally, and hopefully sell some books... that kind of thing, in roughly that order. And to enjoy myself as much as reasonably possible, since I don't expect this sort of thing to happen again.
