Developers never Learn by Leon 13

I consider Call of Duty 4 to be the most Evil game ever developed. Why? Because of it's success, numerous Video Game development companies have abandoned creative designs and tried to make boring FPS games stylized like it. And thus we now have so many ruined franchises, Medal of Honor, Soldier of Fortune, and even the first half of Serious Sam 3 and Duke Nukem were influenced.

And then there are Developers who don't give a crap. Battlefield 4's single player was a glitch bore fest. I just want to tell them “If you're not going to make the Single Player campaign fun, then don't bother you lazy jackasses”. And then there are games that are obviously thrown together for a quick buck, like the Battlefied Los Angelas game which had like 5 levels and 3 guns. And games that were originally going to be good, but the developers scrapped it and turned it into a stupid shadow of it's former self, like Rogue Warrior.

And of course, Developers who never fix their mistakes. Ride to Hell Retribution was a terribly designed game. If they beta tested it and listened to the advice of the players, they might have been able to fix it and it wouldn't suck so much. But no, they just wanted to release it. And then there are games that have broken features because the developers wanted to release them for the planned date, rather than push them back and fix the errors.

Finally, there are developers who never listen to the players. The Darkness 1 was praised for it's open ended nature. The developers clearly didn't hear this, as the sequel was made a linear mess. Then there was Kane and Lynch, a bad TPS. Normally, you wouldn't make a sequel unless you fixed all the problems. Not only did they release a sequel, they made it worse.

So in conclusion, Professional Video Game developers are jackasses and need to listen to their players or burn.
