Stream input wanted! by SpartaDog

My stream buddy keedot had a good idea so I'm stealing it.

What do you look for in a stream? Do you come in to watch quick sketches, or do you like seeing how full illustrations go from sketch to finished product? Do you come to learn new techniques for your own art, to get commissions, to relax, to get inspired, something else? Are there any particular genres, themes, etc you like to see in a stream?

Tell us what you like best about streams (ours, or streams in general), and what you'd like to see more of, or less of, or any suggestions or questions you have! We'll do our best to accommodate c:

When I watch streams, it's often to see how the artist works. Watching someone paint is my most favourite thing to watch but tbh that's more personal enjoyment than wanting to learn how to do it. I think that if the artist streaming shared tips/spoke about their work then it would make the stream far more enjoyable /and/ educational, so I'd b e all for learning new techniques and being inspired by what I'm watching the artist come out with.
I NEED TO WATCH your streams more often so I can't say what I find best about your streams in particular, but I do really enjoy the sense of involvement you get in chatting with the artist/other fans. And also when the artist has the best music taste and expands my music library haha.

Oh great, I'm glad to hear it! We've been streaming Mon - Fri from 1 - 6 pm EST, sometimes later, and sometimes on Saturdays, if that helps you at all!

We do try to talk about art and business a lot so I hope someone is able to get some knowledge out of it! We're always willing to answer questions too!

You guys do everything I like in a stream, great interaction with your audience and neat art/subject matter. Usually pop in to feed off the creativity of the environment and learn. It is a joy to watch you two. I'm working with Tanabi to get Tigerdile to work for me so I can participate in the chat again. Thank you for encouraging me to send that email.

No problem! I hope you can get it to work! We've actually been trying Picarto out this month, so if nothing else maybe that will work better for you. Though we do have a TD stream planned Monday and Tanabi will be in to try to fix the problems, so who knows if we'll go back to TD or not.

I do plan on doing occasional casual streams on TD though. I can't bring myself to leave the site completely, I love it too much.

It is a great site, probably my favorite out of the ones I've watched on.

I love Tigerdile to death but it's been hard with the technical difficulties lately :c

I do it to learn, to see how they build it with structure, how they color their work, things like that anything I can adopt for my own work. Also how they pick and reference poses, basically whatever I feel I am struggling on. Good music is a plus and interaction with those I admire also a good thing.
