News on My Puppy by Zentina

I don't think I ever mentioned on here what's been going on with my dog, Sawyer.
Long story short, she's been dragging her back left foot and scrapping her toes against the ground. And her foot pad is also swollen. This was going on about 2 weeks (we wanted to make sure it wasn't something small that we didn't have to spend $200 on to be told "it's fine" and we also were moving and needed a new vet, so we couldn't do it right away).

Well, we got back from the vet today and we have some news.
First off, this was our first visit to this vet, since we moved and needed a new one. He is VERY VERY nice and informative and as he explained the situation, he provided us with video and what not to illustrate exactly what and where he was talking about, and I think that's so great to provide that for us. He could be talking about anything, and I'd be like "yeah, right, okay, yes," and have no idea exactly what he means.
The people there were very very nice and tried to make Sawyer feel as comfortable as possible. They took their time, were patient, and obviously cared about my dog.
They also are seriously the main location for a lot of breeders. Which is...uncomfortable, but I mean...if you're going to breed a dog I guess it's comforting that this is the vet of choice for breeders...cause you know...decent ones aren't going to go to a bull shit vet, you know what i mean?

Anyways, to my actual dog. LoL.
She has a torn ACL ligament in her knee, but they didn't believe it was completely severed from what he felt and how she acted. This also caused a swelling in her foot pads So, we have to limit her activity and she can't jump (ie: push off with her back legs), and we have to bring her outside on a leash which is hilarious because we specifically got a house with a yard so we didn't have to do that anymore. LoL. So, no car rides unless we pick her up into the back seat, no jumping up (which we're really going to have to work on), and no being rowdy (which...will also be difficult to persuade). So, 1 pill (half in morning and half in evening) for inflammation for 2 months!

ALSO. Because Doofy Face keeps f--kin eating bugs and rabbit poop, she got a type of worm in her tummy. It's not a bad one, it's just one that hey get from eating things...like dirt and bugs....
We just have to inject this liquid with a syringe into her mouth 3 days straight and then wait 3 weeks and do it 3 more times.
So...yum.

AND she got all of her vaccines updated. Overall, very helpful and informative vet visit. Glad it wasn't anything to severe!!
