[TL;DR version near bottom]

So my convention had a slightly rough start.

My sister was taking me down and we pulled into the parking lot, but the direction the signs gave us to enter turned us into the smallest area imaginable that was gated off for people with room cars, so in trying to back out of the taxi parking section she ran into one of the metal railing that lined the pavement (not the actual gates thankfully], but her tail light cove broke, but it is replaced now, however, I will have to pay for part of it because it would not have happened had I not needed the ride down. So I am not sure how much that will cost.

Check-in and everything went fine with the pre-registration. The first other hiccup was the room I had transferred into my name from "linkteiirka: was initially assigned a King bed so I had to wait for them to fix it to a double so I could get roommates. After my room was settled I posted several things to get roommates and even emailed a few people in the same boat of having too much space and no one to fill it, but never heard back from them. I figured it would not be until late that I had someone interested so I waited and eventually someone showed interest but only needed it Saturday, so I kept the room Friday, but I asked if he would help pay for the room and he would have to check, which was fine until on Saturday late mid after I get a text saying he no longer needed it, so I ended up cancelling the room for Saturday night, because I did not want to pay 250-270 Dollars for two night to myself which would have been half of my spending at the convention, but in the end I had to pay for a half day cause it was so late in the afternoon. So that will be about 204 dollars or so that I am still out. So in hide sight I should have just taken the offer from mozdoc and called it good, but you live and learn I suppose.

Aside from that I got to catch up with my friends and acquaintances: protocol, caninehybrid, bix707, psychoseby are a few to name. I got another commission from wintersoul and finally got one from darknatasha who are both absolutely fantastic people to chat with when they have free time, because cons are busy! Also got some commissions from protocol and caninehybrid. Bought lots of prints from a whole assortment of artists including some of those already listed previously in this paragraph but also some from shinigamigirl, Vantid, and wolf-nymph.

Panels I went to included included The Match Game After Hours, which was just stupidly funny with how many people were drunk, but there were enough people who were not drunk that I stayed the entire time. All I have to say is SO MUCH ALLITERATION! Another Panel was the "Adult Fursuit Charades" which I actually got to be a judge on, so a huge thank you to Karma on sparklekreations for letting my be the third judge. [I got a lot more of the technical ones and the more obscure ones] The only other panel I attended was the "Furry Feud" which was essentially Family Feud with survey answers from furries and furry topics..

TL;DR version: had a bit of rougher con, ended up being stuck in a room by myself, need to cover costs [see poll below]. Had a good time overall, got lots and lots of prints and some commissions from Protocol, CanineHybrid, DarkNatasha, and WinterSoul. Went to three panels and judged in one of them [see above for specifics]. Will be planning differently next year.

Overall it was an awesome con, but I think I will need to plan better for next year, depending what the possibly of going to the graduate school will be. I will also be scanning and uploading the commissions I have from this year and previous years. So look out for those.

Also in order to help cover the costs of the room that I did not intend on having I would like to offer one or two things.

It is back to school time, so there will likely be back to school discounts on commissions and I would like to attempt to do a donation raffle if people are interested where there would be three winners with first second and third place prizes. Need to gauge interest first so I made a Poll.
