For some reason, I can't get the damned thing to work. It didn't work in Chrome on Win 8.1 while I was briefly there, and it won't work in Chrome on Win 10 now. The icon shows up, but it won't do anything when I click it. Help?
It also works fine for me in Win8.1 without needing to run in compatibility mode. So... probably just do a quick shut down and restart first
It's strange, because it worked A-OK on Win 7, but when I got my new computer set up and installed 8.1, it got weird. It might have something to do with Chrome auto-installing plugins when I logged into the browser though?
Hm...plugins are not likely, though you can check them with chrome://plugins to see what is there also check to see what extensions you have installed besides the crossposter. If you have the most recent version of Chrome, it has been buggy. Sometimes it is just the the cross poster needing to catch up.
Try using this version and don't let it auto update

As far as that uninstall the current version and let it delete browsing data, find the App Data folder for chrome and delete it too before installing this version so that you have clean slate before syncing/logging into your Gmail account and having everything sync up again fresh.

Try finding the .exe for chrome and run it compatibility mode. If that doesn't work, remove the extension and reinstall it. If that still doesn't work, there is probably either some code on FA or in Win10 that breaks.
Those are my two quick fixes aside from simply doing a PC restart.
