I just bought myself a copy of Manga Studio 5 (Clip Studio Paint Pro) for $15 from their website, the offer is good until this Tuesday the 14th.**

I had heard it was a great program to at least sketch and ink with and they weren't kidding! I'm loving it so far and once I get completely used to it, it's going to cut down the time it takes me to do commissions considerably. Don't be scared by the name, it's not just for manga artists, it just has a lot of tools manga/comics artists use.

This is just the base version, there is a more expensive version -- Manga Studio EX 5 -- but most of the things that are exclusive to it aren't things that most users will miss if they stick with the cheaper option. On their website there is a compare page so you can see what each version offers so you can decide for yourself.

It's great overall and it's a fantastic alternative program for people who can't afford/don't want Photoshop or other similar programs.
