Submitting art from other artist? Opinion!? by SweetSushi
So I know you can use the collection function to gather art down by other artist, but this doesn't work if the artist isn't here (or doesnt offer me the collection) right!?
At the moment my collection on weasyl only includes 12 pieces, but I have 300+ artpieces done for Suu Valkyrie and other characters by other artists!
I do however have a separate art page on FA for this, but since we can use folders here ♥ ♥ maybe!
**My question is: Shall I create a folder in my gallery specifically for art done by others of my characters!? Would that be confusing? Would be a huuuuge art dump! 300+ submissions **
Please let me know you opinion in comments below!

I will prob resubmit from my own fa fusona profile where I have all the credits, but I do not have original links to the page and not planning to search for them for over 300 artpieces :P I am sure just the name would do the trick ♥ ^_^ Thanks for your feedback!! :D

I was gonna say you could try messaging the artist about it (sometimes they just forget- I know I do!) but 300+ would be a lot of work! I say with proper credit you're probably fine :D

Yup yup crediting the artist is np at all, I was more worried that it would be troublesome for my watchers if I would submit allot of art not done by me...wasn't sure if my watchers would liked that :P

https://www.weasyl.com/policy/community , look for Weasyl Collections Feature. What I typically suggest is: link the person's account in the description (wherever their presence is, here or elsewhere), and add that person's username as a tag, to the work, so that's searchable. Hope this helps!

Crediting the artist is not the issue, I was just concerned that it would confuse ppl if I would add allot of art not done by me, if that would be troublesome for ppl who watch me for my art and kigus. Thanks for the feedback tough ^_^

Just put the artist's name (and maybe a link to their FA gallery) in the description for credit purposes and nobody really has the right to complain.

I do it all the time. I'm sure its fine as long as you credit the artist, maybe include a link to the source image if they've uploaded it.
