After only being on here for an hour or so, I'm already in love with the site's features and design. I know it's still in Beta and is relatively new, but I see so much potential in it already. I cant wait for more traffic to come, and more users to join. But, I just thought I'd write this to tell you a little bit about myself, so you can know some things about me and also my fursona, Pough, considering his personality is exactly like mine.

My name is Ritchie, I'm 5'11''. I have black hair, pale skin and dark brown eyes. I'm from Quebec, Canada, and have been drawing since a very young age. I never took interest in it until maybe grade 7, when we started having real art classes and whatnot. I started working more with paint and charcoal, and passed with almost perfect marks in art throughout highschool. However I dropped out due to several issues both related to my personal life at home and issues with the school, and my creativity died out. Recently however, I've became more active online on sites such as DeviantArt, Furaffinity, and though I've been on tumblr for over 3 years, several art tags have caught my eye and captured me.

I don't have a tablet as I'm very new to the digital art scene and do not have a lot of money. I practice screwing around with my mouse, but I always tend to close the program and turn to my pencil and paper. With the help of my girlfriend though, I hope to learn more about the art world, techniques, and even get better with a tablet once I own my own. We're currently in a long distance relationship, and though it's rough sometimes, we make it through everything smiling. She means the world to me and I'm so lucky to have had her by my side not only as my girlfriend, but as the best friend I could ask for. She stayed with me last summer for a few weeks but due to my computer being down, she didn't bother bringing her tablet, however I'm going to be flying down to see her in a few months, and I'll be able to use a tablet then, so expect a drawing or two possibly, heh.

Nowadays I spend most of my time playing video games, watching movies, talking to my girlfriend, and being an annoyance to the internet. I like to make people smile, whether it be from me being an idiot and making a fool out of myself, or telling a joke or doing impressions. I've been told I have a nice voice and I should get into voice acting, which I would be interested in doing if I had more confidence. I have a bad social anxiety and though I may be a total social butterfly online, I can't call to order a pizza in real life. However, I do love making friends and would love to talk about pretty much anything. I have a weird sense of humor and find interest in things that most other people wouldn't. My music tastes range anywhere form Eminem to some black metal band that's only famous on that weird part of YouTube.

I feel as though this journal entry has been a bit too long, so I apologize. I also am running out of things to say about myself, heh.
