21st Century Man by KronoGarrett

Employment:
In which my life collapses to a singularity around my new job, at least for the next few months. But hey, at least the last eight years of higher education won't be going to waste.

Space Monster Attack Corps:
Stalled for the time being since I'm too thrashed at the end of the day to make much progress. I'll try to get some more ink and color work done today, though.

Other Art:
Ha.

Baragon:
On indefinite hold.

Assault on Continuity Snarl:
It all made sense years ago, with a monitor lizard in their late twenties who ended up working with a mercenary company. Then it was a pliosaur and a blue dragon, followed by things falling apart in a way that permanently unmoored my primaries by leaving them with a backstory that must not be spoken of. Even trying to retcon it as virch addiction is probably unwise, so the best route is simply crushing the past into neutronium and moving on.

The time has come to fix these past errors and put together a coherent explanation for how Tankaa and Ori came to be. I'm still divided over whether or not I should go with the more mundane background for Tankaa (which would make his life a loosely fictional version of my own), or embrace the current Space Opera Lite setting that eases crossovers while still allowing for everyone's favorite pliosaur to go around with his thermal camera, checklist, and arc flash suit. I'm not quite sure how I'll deal with Ori's backstory (it's easier to fit into the latter setting), but I'll come up with something.

Well it's good you're using that education. As for me I can't find a job with mine so I may totally retool and go back to school for something else, not sure yet.
