Two vents in a few days, just lot of thing irking me.

There was something that caused me to just loose all respect and care in watching/reading any thing, no matter the subject and how good something is created, the moment it is uttered I just give up and walk away.

That is word "Sue".

I cannot stand that damn term, and I seen it used by people who cannot see pass the DnD sheets they measures all characters by and look at the work the creator had put in. I look at how fun the adventure is, along with other factors like does this story work when read? Is the world interesting? Is it a labor of love? Is it professionally put together? How much effort the person poured into the work itself, not the "narrative" not the "characters" but the work as a whole.

I hate Sue hunters, I hate the term. I just hate the idea that the entire work gets overlooked for one tiny part.

Teen titans the Culling was not bad because of Harvest, it was bad because good characters were killed, folded shoddily into the DCU, and the fight was basically "Punch, punch, we need a plan, we'll punch him MORE!"

One more thing before I go is it me or each time somebody tries to make the Sue Hunters it makes another version. Started with just regular old perfect so some made a character nothing but flaws, than that became the new standard so a balance was struck but that was hillbilly Sue X and it got worse and worse.
