Multiverse Clarification Time! by PhialeOfMystery

Reposting this here, as it was originally written in response to a tumblr ask! Here are the five primary "universes" most of my art is set in, for anyone who was curious:

  1. An unnamed Steampunk/pulp/fantasy/whatever-you-would-call-it world which is where Mathilda, Nuremberg, Addra, and Rhacos are from, as well as most of my other overtly ‘fantasy-looking’ characters. Primary species are birds (and possibly non-avian dinosaurs) and ungulates of any type.

  2. An unnamed world inspired by golden/silver age comic books and various over-the-top anime (think Dragon Ball Z and the like), which is where Mirari and Starlight are from, as well as anyone else who looks like they might belong in an urban/modern/near-future setting. Primary species are whatever I feel like. Also the various giant monsters I draw may or may not be from here.

  3. An unnamed distant future pure sci-fi world which is where SERA-9 is from, as well as most other robots unless they’re explicitly stated to be from elsewhere. Main species are aliens, reptiles, and ungulates of any type.

  4. Superblaster 2000, a fictional arcade game, which is where Glitch is from. May exist within #2 or #3. Any character sharing Glitch’s weird shiny-glowy-alien aesthetic is probably from here, but she herself isn’t bound to the game and can appear in any setting.

  5. Into The Sun, a sci-fi/fantasy post-apocalyptic world, and I've posted bits of an early version of it here. Primary species are big cats and hyenas. Its current iteration is very visually distinctive from everything else. You’ll know it when you see it.

They’re all fairly distinct and seperate, each with their own histories, technology, villains, etc, but I wouldn’t completely rule out fun little crossovers on occasion! :3 (With the exception of #5, which I see as a totally self-contained story radically different in tone from any of the others.)
