Just because a fursona REPRESENTS a person does not mean it IS that person. It's a CHARACTER. I'm getting rather sick and tired of people not understanding this. Is it really that hard to understand that I'm a real person and not an anthropomorphic dragon that only exists in drawings? Why is it so hard to grasp the concept that someone's fursona is a separate entity from them?

I've drawn porn of a dragon-person and posted it on some art sites where it belongs. Big fucking deal. Is that really the same as me actually “flaunting myself” to everyone? Does that make me a slut? If you had to think about your answer to that, I don't think you understand how fursonas actually work.

Notice something they all have in common? They're all comments about the content of the image being hot or sexy or whatever, yes, but are these people actually saying that about ME? No. They're saying it about a CHARACTER. Because that's what it IS.

And yes, while the character does represent me in a way, that doesn't mean I would actually post nudes of myself for everyone on the Internet to see. There's a big difference between those 2 things and apparently some people are too stupid to understand that. I only drew the damn thing thinking my mate would like it anyway, but no! People feel the need to judge me for it.

TL;DR: I am not my fursona and if you can't understand that then kindly fuck off.
