Why upload them here in lower quality?

• I consider mp3 to be low quality ;)
• I'd like to keep my downloads available centrally on bandcamp, this also gives me better insight in the number of plays, downloads etc. Plus it lets you pay for it too - if you'd like.
• Upload restrictions on filesize etc.
