It's still a lil bit off but I'm not going to be writing this out in the scant minutes before I go to work and I work most of the day XD So!

Yeah. S'my birthday. A ripe old 31. Did a nice little celebration Sunday with my family at a local teppanyaki place, also sort of celebrating mother's day, then cake at my gran's afterward. Was nice. And for the real day I think we're gonna do pizza after work.

I kind of thought I'd be more retrospective last week buuuuut, right now I just feel glad to be where I'm at. I'm not really happy or content per se, but things are looking up at least, I don't feel like the sword of damacles is dangling over the family so much anymore. Things are more stable, I enjoy my job (more or less) I've been writing more, and I'm making enough money to have a savings again while still having goodies like books, games, commissions, and con trips.

I am really thankful for my friends though. Through thick and thin, you guys keep me sane (what passes for sanity with me anyhow). So, thank you. I know so many wonderful, sweet, talented people and I'm lucky they share their lives with lil ol me.

It is a lil weird thinking I'm as old as I am. Meeting people at work that are almost half my age, for instance. Doesn't really make me feel old though, but I guess it's more of a mindset? Dunno. Here I am though and not stopping yet. :D I guess it helps I don't really look (or act) my age. Anyhow, here's to many more!
