There seems to a rise in theft of closed species. I know it's been going on practically since the internet started, but it's been REALLY bad lately. Just keep your eyes open, and look for the signs. For example, if you feel like you've seen it before, most likely you HAVE. Look into it. Try to find where you first saw it. If they say they're an alt account, ask the main account, to varify. That's a common excuse that theives use. That and "I got permission". Ask the original owner of the species if this is true. It's really sad that you practically have to run a background check on people, before you adopt from them.
