The personal lesson I took from this video was not to let video games rob me of my life. A lot of them can be hour devouring monsters, just to get the next shiny down the road. I cant afford to have all my hours taken away from me, just to say I got to play with one shiny in one game for another couple of hours before the next shiny came up.

Right now Diablo 3 and Warframe are both good examples that I'm playing. I have to make sure I'm playing to play and not playing to grind or I end up losing a whole day to a blur of lost time.
They're basically designed to be played full time, and nobody should have that much time on their hands just to goof off unless they're independently wealthy. It's a kind of predatory way to design games, and it's a lot more common than it should be.
