first, a big thank you to everyone who donated ad spread the word. i really can't thank you enough.

at this point in time, i am going to consider our car situation resolved, so i will be shutting it down. after literally hitchhiking to work, being able to go grocery shopping like twice, and all that good stuff that comes with not having a car for almost three months, my uncle has very kindly and generously stepped in to help us. long story short, we'll have a car in 2 or 3 weeks. this happened kind of quickly and unexpectedly and i'm kind of at a loss for words here.

the past three months have been anything but easy, but if there's anything to take away from it, i learned how incredibly kind human beings really are. i hate asking for help; i honestly do, and yet, everyone- my neighbors, my friends, people i don't even know- have, without hesitation, given it to us. i wouldn't trade that for the world. over the past decade i have repeatedly decided that life is not on my side, but if anything i think i greatly underestimate just how lucky i am.

as for the 170$ in donations i did receive:
3k was definitely a stretch to ask for. the fact that i made it to 170 still baffles me(thank you!!), but since i didn't have anything else coming in after that first month or so, i instead put it towards our electric bill which was higher than usual due to the cold weather, so that helped us out a lot. i don't have a receipt for this because i pay said bill over the phone, but please know i would never ever abuse gofundme to like...run off and buy stupid shit, lol. either way, the money donated was a tremendous help to us in this situation so it didn't go to waste! thank you all so much for your support.
