Hello my friends and brethren,

This is Geoffrey again, checking in to let you know things are still ongoing here. Right now we're working on a few different possible ideas, trying to figure out how best to serve you folks. This journal is here to ask you for your help. I want your input on what you want out of this group. We're planning a few things, such as:

1) Fellowship. This is a big part of the ministry, just getting Catholic furs in contact with each other and hanging out, sharing their time and faith in a furry way.

2) Catechesis. I want to run through the basics of the Faith, using either the Baltimore Catechism or the Catechism of the Catholic Church, to help folks study their faith better.

3) Scripture Study. I'd like to have a scripture study put together, where we can grow deep in the Word as a group. How would you want to do this? In journals or a stream of some sort?

4) Art. I think something we need to get into is our Catholic heritage of supporting and engaging in the Arts. To that end, I'd like to revive some of the art contests and/or commissions that we tried to do on FA. The only major downside is that we'd have to do fundraising for that. Have a favorite image on Weasyl? Send it our way. We don't just like explicitly Catholic or Christian art, we like GOOD art.

5) Your suggestions? We want to hear what YOU want! Let us know if you'd like to see something else on here.

Also, we only have a few of us here right now. I would /love/ if you got the word out to your Catholic furry friends and family, getting folks to follow us and take part in our community.
