Although I'm an atheist, I was raised in a mildly Christian country, so I have a rough familiarity with the basics of the faith's mythology. And, what with it being Easter right now, I've been thinking about the story of the resurrection, and I think I've hit upon a major theological breakthrough.

Now, what do we know about Jesus? Well, here's a few salient points:
1. He was very wise and frequently offered such insights to his companions.
2. He was a man of emotional restraint, to the point that any crack in his facade, such as a sudden burst of anger, is a noteworthy occurrence.
3. He was a hybrid of human and another humanoid species.
4. He died sacrificing his life for the betterment of others, but was later resurrected.

Now, who do we know who possesses these same traits? Yes, that's right: I think that Jesus Christ was in fact Spock.
