So, I guess you've heard all the drama and chaos going on because of Furaffinity selling out to IMVU, in all honesty it's among the stupidiest desicions ever made by the administration.
If anything... IMVU is hardly doing this for altruism or just to get a few ads on the site, it's up to something much more sinister, and while they say the ToS are unchanged and we all retain full intelectual property and all that, the truth is that imvu is so twisted to take it and sell it as "user generated content" and opening a lawsuit is already a nightmare in the US, outside the country (for example in Mexico) is flat out imposible...let alone finding a lawyer willing to take your case.
Also, the userbase may at some point be subject to an involuntary marketing study and to analytics based on your kinkiest fetishes... so if you got your "human" e-mail linked to your FA account then expect Bad Dragon ads appear everywhere where you would want them the least (for example on spongebob wikia XD) or if you are into some degenerate shit (i.e. scat, diapers and the kind of stuff that makes me feel unsafe on FA) you may find across worse personalized publicity.
Also, eventually furaffinity because of IMVU may lose that one thing it was famous for: allowing the upload of yiff art... they say they won't do that to calm down everyone who has been concerned on the matter, but the truth is... they can, and they will do it.
And certainly, such decision is marketing-wise suicidal... but yes, I do believe they're that stupid.
If they had that many financial issues (namelly... Dragoneer dilapidating the donations on petty stuff) and needed to improve so much the site... they could have well used the same approach with DA, and implementing premium accounts and few in-site "toys" or features for users paying the premium membership... but no, they decided to go and sell their asses off to one of the most infamous internet service out there.
So, that's all for now, Serpiente over and out.

I wasn't big on FA anyway, so I'm just munching popcorn now.
