One thing that is weird about me is that I don't like weddings. I rather enjoy funerals. I mean don't get me wrong I enjoy seeing people happy when they are with their life long partner. The joy they have for one another. I'm glad for them.

Funerals for me is like a wedding only with the dead. Like a wedding, it's a start of a new life. Sure, it may not be the living start, but it's a new beginning for the soul. It's free to do whatever it wants. Nothing to chain it down as it makes it's way to the other side. The spirit will live forever and nothing holds it back. I love the quietness of the funerals. I like to see the grieving of the loved ones, not in a bad way, but a good way. That shows that they really loved the one that passed on. I'm more connected to the spiritual world than I am with the living. I don't know why, but that's how I feel. Maybe it's part of my Native American heritage? I don't know, but this is what I enjoy.
