Testing, testing... one, two...

Hi, I'm Kathryn and I write songs. Mostly lyrics, sometimes melodies, and the occasional full piece. This is my portfolio of work to show some of what I can do.

I sing a little, but I'm no musician, so demos will be rough, and probably use automated music. So please comment on the songs, not the performances. My goal is to sell my stuff to professional performers, who will make it sound good.

My favourite pieces of composing software are Noteflight and Audacity. Lyrics usually get scribbled down on any handy piece of paper before being heavily corrected, re-arranged and generally tidied up. Only then does the computer get a look in, acting as a glorified typewriter.

So I write music on computer, and words by hand. Possibly getting things the wrong way round...
