Forgot to make a journal entry of the sort for this new site (even if it has been up for a while). So, I should probably start off with my thoughts on this site~

The site layout and design is very nicely made, quite simple yet excecution is very gorgeous. I do like the little visual eye candy things like the submission info with the Author displaying on the thumbnail while it dynamicly slides over to the other from the direction you move your mouse against. The profile page is something I take fancy quite a lot to, for it's almost as if this is a professional portfolio already being displayed rather then just a userpage.

As for the ease of access, the uploading of images of it is spot on. I really do like the idea of built in cropping of an image to be displayed as a thumbnail. The "featured submission" does give the image feature a nice spotlight look. But, the same spotlight effect applies to any image viewed as well, making every image look "special".

One other feature that also took my interest in was the "commission" information you can put. The fact you can have it subdivided into different subjects on a single "class" or subject makes it very convenient. Takes out the hassle of manually having some journal entry like on deviantArt/InkBunny/FurAffinity with all the prices for each when this does it with little hassle.

If theres something that I may find as a drawback/con, they are very minor things that are based on my own personal preference. One of them is the fact that people can see who you're friends with which I would prefer keeping that private (while viewing who is watching you or who you're watching is fine). Another would be the search engine lacking particular features like an "advance search", things like searching for something that's sorted by upload date or by views. There is also no option of choosing what to feature on your page for it's only displaying your most recent one as the featured image. But, maybe there is an option somewhere or they're going to add it in the feature. After all, this is just Beta!

For a website that offers many conveniences and the such in a beta stage, both for any artist or a typical lurker, I'm quite excited to see where this site goes up in further development in the future and am glad joining this place to experience it all. I would definately have donated (still would!) if I knew on this earlier. There is probably some things I haven't found out yet but I'm learning!
