Car has died, AGAIN. by benanderson

The battery on my car has died again. The starter motor doesn't turn over, accompanied with a horrible clicking sound which means the Solenoid isn't receiving enough power.

This is the second time its happened and the car is only a year old next month. I am demanding that, instead of just doing a full charge of the battery like last time, that they replace the battery with a brand new one. Its clearly faulty as it drains way to fast and struggles to turn over once its been off for a while.

I had to ask my dad to drive me to work god dammit, and have my mum wait in the house for the dealership's recovery vehicle to arrive. I am 100% pissed off right now.

I am crossing my fingers and hoping to god its just the battery. If its the starter motor or solenoid itself, I will raise absolute hell.

My car is the 8th most reliable on sale in the UK. I must have gotten one hell of a lemon!

Car has died, AGAIN.

    Damn, dude! :O

Must be the year for automotive work, because I just had the rear brake lines go out on my 2000 Toyota Camry. Oddly enough, the mechanic says that the brake lines were the original ones from the factory, and except for the ruptured section (on which the mechanic spliced new tubing), the lines are in good shape for being 15 years old.
