Yeah, yeah, I'm a little late to the game on this one, but I figure late is better than nothing, right?

My online name pretty much everywhere is LarkspurDragon (even though Larkspur is a dryphon--half dragon, half gryphon) so you're welcome to call me Larkspur, Lark, Jo/Joe (my real name yay) or Hunter. I am FAAB, wrestling with my gender, and usually fall into the agender/neutrois category, so please use they/them/their as pronouns for me. Recently I've started to wonder if I actually am trans in some way, and a few weeks ago I ordered my first packer. This is entirely new territory for me so I'm going slowly.

I live on the Mighty Mississippi somewhere between Minnesota and Wisconsin; this summer I'll be moving in with SilveryGryphoness when she goes to school at my own Alma Mater, from where I graduated in 2013 with a degree in Ecology.

I recently got a job at the International Owl Center in Houston, Minnesota, as an Educator--I get to do educational programs with owls, basically. I love animals of all kinds, but particularly birds and reptiles, if you couldn't guess that from my profile. I share my home with eleven snakes, two lizards and three turtles (though those are my mother's): a 9-1/2-foot boa constrictor named Jupiter; a ball python named Elf; a California kingsnake named Zephyr; a Honduran milksnake named Artemis, and seven cornsnakes named Falcon, Mocha, Mali, Io, Iris (also my mother's), Loki, and Yohkoh; a blue-tongued skink named Bonaparte (Bono), a leopard gecko named Nebula, a red-footed tortoise named Diogenes, a leopard tortoise named Merlin, and a three-toed box turtle named Sammy. A bird and a dog are among my future pets, ideally.

I started out using only traditional media (didn't we all?) but when I was given a drawing tablet at age 17 by my late grandmother, I switched to almost exclusively digital media. I also knit a lot and paint random stuff. My other artistic passion is scratchboard animal portraits, which are also in my gallery here.

• Do you do commissions?
  -- Yep, I'm always open and my prices are on my front page.

• Do you do trades?
  -- Sometimes, though I'm usually the one to instigate the trade. I do, however, frequently participate in ConbadgeExchange.

• Do you do requests?
  -- Nope.

• Do you do collaborations?
  -- Occasionally I do.

• Can I use your art?
  -- If you are the commissioner or the recipient of gift art, absolutely. That's why I drew it for you. If not, however, no.

• Can I repost your art?
  -- Once again, you may only repost it if you are the commissioner or recipient, and then only if you link back to the original.

• Can I use your art as a character reference/faceclaim/etc?
  -- Wow, people actually have the balls to ask this? No. I put a lot of work into my characters and they are mine. I'm perfectly willing to create a character for you if you commission one, though.

• Can you teach me to draw [insert thing here]?
  -- I guess so. I'm better with giving tips and I'm perfectly fine with redlining someone's drawing if you don't ask every day or something.

• Can I add you on Skype?
  -- Ehh, I'd rather you didn't. My Skype is pretty personal and I really only use it to talk to SilveryGryphoness, Jaherosa, and commissioners I can't contact any other way.

• Do you go to cons?
  -- Not regularly, but that is because I don't have any money. I went to MFF one year and a few little con-lets put on by the Minnesota Furs, but that's it.

• Do you fursuit?
  -- Not in public, and not recently. I made a full suit of Schatzi and a head for Ofelia and I'm stalled on making a head and tail for Larkspur, though.

• What do you use to do your art?
  -- For the most part I use Photoshop CS6 which I got as a graduation present from my parents, and a Wacom Bamboo Fun (if I'm out and about, at home I sometimes use my Cintiq 12wx).

• Do you accept gift art?
  -- Absolutely! However I do ask that you make sure it's kept in-character, and that you ask permission before buying or drawing anything sexual.

• Can I trace or copy your art?
  -- I'd rather you didn't, but if you do I'd prefer you do it only to practice drawing and that you don't profit from the piece in any way. Plus, it's better to use photos as references for accuracy, so I'd prefer you do that instead.

• Do you roleplay?
  -- Most of the time, no. I'd like to get into it, but I don't really have anyone aside from SilveryGryphoness and Jaherosa to RP with.

• Can I talk dirty to you?
  -- I suppose. I'm pretty kinky and am fairly open about what I'm into.

• Can I talk nerdy to you?
  -- ABSOLUTELY. The list of nerdy things I like is quite long, so if you make references to nerdy things I'll probably get them, and possibly respond in kind.

• Why don't you post on FA any more?
  -- That's a weird question. I left because the community was feeling more and more hostile and full of drama-llamas, and I absolutely despise conflict. I do regret it a little bit because I had quite a few followers there and I tended to get more commissions, though.

• How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
  -- ALL OF IT.
