2015 Terms of Service

Payment

There are a few acceptable forms of payment acceptable. By default, it will be assumed as a payment through Paypal. ( http://paypal.com/ ) All prices are in USD format.

Please view the appropriate instructions for payment as well as the e-mail address used for this most common form of payment.

Other forms of payment are acceptable. Because commissions' prices are relatively low, like amounts in the form of gift cards or cheap Steam games are acceptable. Below are all the acceptable forms used in place of Paypal.

• Art trade

Payment Instructions

Payment is due after the work is completed. Afterwards, after viewing the completed work, you may negotiate with the artist about the base price and be able to propose a new price. Please be reasonable and keep in mind that constant proposals for a steeply lower price will bar the commissioner from proposing a new price in the future.*

• Please do not abuse this generous offer. Terms will change immediately if too many commissioners fail to provide payment after work is completed. Use your conscience as your guide!

I ask that you communicate with me through Weasyl for the entire process.

Subject Matter

Because of the nature of the cutesy, wootsey style of work, commissions requesting 18+ or sexual material will be denied. The artist reserves the right to decline any other request if the subject does not fall under the "general", "clean", or otherwise "safe for work" categories.

Homophobic, xenophobic, sexist, transphobic, religious, political, "cub", violent, or otherwise marginalizing material requests are unacceptable and will be denied. If you are unsure about a topic, ask.

Reposting/Editing

The customer and the artist retain the right to edit, crop, or repost any artwork given that the work rightfully belongs to the appropriate customer.

You have the right to keep a commission private, however, a public post containing a private image will void this agreement.

Commission Applications

Claiming a spot isn't supposed to require too much work out of you, the customer. As long as you remain clear and consistent with the details you give the artist the first time around, there will be no need for a static, boring form or application to fill out.

Revisions

Minor revisions are free. Up to three (3) revision requests can be made at any given time. If the work is six (6) months old, no revision requests can be made.

Major revisions and even re-dos will incur an additional fee. Please think carefully about the details and subjects you are sending me when you submit an "application" to me.

Language Barriers

"NerdyRat" requires messages to be written in clear, concise Standard English to be able to process your order correctly. If the artist cannot understand the message being conveyed, there may be a delay in service. Please refrain from abbreviating or using idioms or euphemisms. Sarcasm isn't his strongest point either, I'm afraid.

Refunds

Given the nature of the payment methods available, refunds will not be available.
