The Waiting Game (my mission statement) by Struggler

Hello to all my (new) watchers! Glad to have you onboard :3

Here's reality as it stands. I've tossed my hat in the ring to attempt full-time commission work, and the first thing I've noticed is that there is A LOT of downtime and unstable income (surprise, surprise). Okay, I was pretty aware about the latter issue, but the former makes me nervous. Lemme 'splain. I need to drive more traffic to my page to see my work. To do this, I've taken out an ad banner on FA (which should be running as we speak!) and I'm working on revamping a lot of my page. My galleries are getting a lot more attention, meaning, I'll be submitting more shit way WAY more often than I used to. This will be the same for my Weasyl account, I haven't updated that one yet.

I'm still running an Iron Artist challenge and it is quite stagnant. I may start posting up reminders for this, so if I start to get somewhat spammy, I apologize beforehand. Info on that here if you are unaware of what I'm offering: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6436257/

I'd love to get back into doing streams, but they are quite taxing on me and require a lot of preparation on my end to make them work to maximize my benefits. Getting a good setup for this is in my to-do list.

I'm considering doing another free art raffle to promote myself. Not totally sure on this one yet, may be a desperation thing.

Whenever I'm NOT working on a commission, all of my productive attention is going two places. Doing art and promoting myself on FA (furry community stuff) and working on getting professional artwork created and displayed, probably on tumblr for the time being (everything else that's not furry related). That Tumblr is not up yet, and I don't know if I'll post that info here. I wish to keep my furry stuff and professional work separate for the time being.

Such is life. Believe me, I love it, I just need to pay bills and such. So yeah, this is just to let you guys know what's up in my little world right now. I've been cranking out artwork like I've never done before. I'll definitely be utilizing my scraps more often now, so make sure to keep your eyes open on that too. Stay tuned fuzzys. Hope you're all doing well.

(this is a crosspost from my FA journal. My I'm in the process of updating my weasyl with recent stuff.)
