I've made a twitter bot named @chakatbot. It monitors the Weasyl front page for any chakat- or taur-related artwork, and tweets the image and a link to the submission.

If you're interested in using the Weasyl API in conjunction with Twitter, you may want to check out the repository. It uses rechner's excellent pyweasyl library.
