I was listening to some Pikmin soundtracks the other day at 4AM and I've decided I'm gonna do something fairly big art-wise. I'm still working out the logistics for it, but it's going to be called "Project Piklopedia"

I'm going to draw every entry from Pikmin 2's Piklopedia. I'm not sure right now whether or not to include the plants, since it was always the species design I was really into. I might include some of the more unique plants of the series, like candypop buds. I don't think the creature designs in the Pikmin series get anywhere NEAR the attention they deserve! I love the whole environment of the Pikmin games and I wanna pay tribute to that with this project. If you're a fan of Pikmin you're more than welcome to join me! Just make sure you tag anything you do Project_Piklopedia on here! (and maybe even link back to this journal so people know where the idea originated!)

I think since some of the species are so small it'd also be reasonable to do more than one in the same picture, since a lot are beetles. It'd also be acceptable to draw certain species families together if you wanted to, Like all the bulborbs or all the wollywogs etc. If you managed to finish the whole Piklopedia heck, you could even start drawing stuff from Pikmin 3! I plan on including entries from Pikmin 1 that didn't make it into pikmin 2, like the smoky progg.
