Guys, I wanna thank you all that came here and wished me well on my birthday. This last year has been on the rough side in a lot of ways so hearing a simple "Hey, glad you exist" more or less is nice. Really, thank you guys.

Now, I need to say this because someone wasn't so nice as most of you; Even a 6 year old knows that if you learn it is someone's birthday, you wish them well. It's just good manners. and if it's awkward for you to do so, or your shy, then not saying anything, especially online where we don't know each other in person, is ok too.

So this guy comes to my journal about turning 31 and starts going off about himself having turned 30 and how old HE feels and why it sucked or something of the sort. Never once was there a well wish or a "glad your here, making art" or even a word edgewise acknowledging that the very point of the journal was that "I" had turned 31 on that day.

That was....SO rude. It was really quite tactless and I want to ask, have you guys ever had an experience, preferable inside this fandom and community, where someone is tactless and inappropriately self absorbed? Tell me about it. I wanna hear your stories XD
