What's the point in Art liveStreams? by Sapphirus

I don't seee the point in watching art livestreams, sure you're watching the artist work, but you can't learn anything from it as a growing artist. I see so many lovely shading techniques, but everyone who hosts livestresms hide/keep the tools being used from being clear. Even the tutorials on YouTube blur their tools and techniques when ppl make them, pisses me off. The Tutorials ppl make by pages are confusing to me, I tried, i Need a vid of it all. I know sometimes artists wanna keep their ways secret but come on......

Why do good artists torture me so... lol -.-

Not all artist hide their tools, and some that do, I think, only do so to make sure people focus on the art or can see it better. I actually can learn a lot by watching how other artist draw. Whenever I end up with art block I watch a bunch of art streams, not only for inspiration but to see if there is a simpler way to do something or if I can't figure out how to do something. Most artist that I watch will also explain how they do things if they are asked.

It's also just nice to watch people draw, or to have company while drawing.
