Hello folks, and welcome to the brand new year! I have had a great week off. First I wanna say thanks to everyone for the holiday wishes, gifts and all that good stuff that made things fun this holiday. It gave me the warm fuzzies. I had a great time. My lady came down from New Hampshire and we spent a week just exploring all the silliness that NYC has to offer.

We went to go see Aladdin: the Musical. It. WAS. FABULOUS! Ok the songs dragged a bit since they had to be adapted for a stage play, but what they has was a fun treat for the ears. James Monroe Iglehart is an awesome genie. You can tell he is having a wonderful time. Iago is not a parrot, but the guy playing him was a great comedian and had the coolest evil laugh. And holy monkey of Allah, Jafar was Jafar! Jonathan Freeman was the voice of Jafar in the animated movie. AND he plays the role in the musical! That was soooo cool. Hearing him just made my day. It was full of amazing costumes, interesting new characters, and belly dancers. L-lllllots of belly dancers!

Next we went to the Museum of Natural History. We got lost in all the awesome. I loved the miniature architecture exhibits as well as the cultural clothes. But there was so much to look at. We literally walked around until the museum closed. They had a live butterfly walk through. We were in a room full of fluttering butterflies. I snapped so many photos even when one landed on a dude's head. If I knew there was a butterfly exhibit, I would have used a sweeter shampoo too. The entire time I was there, I kept thinking "I wanna draw fairy smut."

After a New Years of Cards against Humanity, We went to China town. I showed her all the cool otaku stores and she got me to eat sushi. I rescued her from many a pushy masseur and purse seller (not really, but I did warn her to watch out). An interesting sight to see was a real maid cafe. I am so going there when I get the chance.

We said goodbye on Friday after I promised to go to a strip club for my birthday. Yes she said I had to. Can I pick them or what?! Y'know, I was thinking of leaving NYC for greener pastures, but seeing it with her eyes makes me want to hang around a little longer. Still gonna fill out job resumes though. Gotta go where the money is.

On that note, here are my resolutions:

• The obvious "Get into shape" resolution. More Krav, More low impact cardio.
• Draw more porn. That includes kicking up my technique a notch or 7.
• Get another license. Maybe a masseur, maybe a bartender. I haven't decided.
