A New Year With New Changes for WOE! by WeaselsOnEasels

Happy New Years!

Bringing in the New Years means new things for Weasels on Easels! Join us on ringing in the new seasons with some of our new changes below. We hope to continue to serve you and bring you new work as the year begins!

Our Commissions List:

The first of our new changes is how clients can track the progress of commissions. We are now on Trello, a free site for organizing information and lists. Our commissions list complete with project status's and updates can be found here:

https://trello.com/b/SGMrSHTq/weasels-on-easels-commissions

On-going Projects List:

Also, we have made a complete page listing all of current projects and plans for projects done along of our commissions. With this page, you can track how we are progressing as a whole if it so interests you.You can find this page here:

https://trello.com/b/BPdkOQNr/weasels-on-easels-long-queue-list

Got an idea for an interesting project you would like to see? Let us know, and we'll look into it!

A new Website:

We are also in the process of building our own website! Our domain is www.weaselsoneasels.com. Currently, we have a temporary page up as we work though the project. When our page is done, it will have pages for everything from galleries of our work to information on commissions and where to find our work. We even hope to have a page laying out our goals as a small buisness and another to purchase our work directly through our page. Being what new projects can be, we have run into some walls with our computer having mother board complications, so it may be a while yet before our page in progress makes onto the net. As they say, "When mama aint happy, aint nobody happy!"

New Contact Info:

Having a new website means having new contact information! If you have any questions regarding commissions or our products, you can email us at info@weaselsoneasels.com As always, you can still message us through our page and Etsy shop as well. If you have any questions directly for our artists, you can find them here:

Allison Wier: awier@weaselsoneasels.com

M. Kopf: m.kopf@weaselsoneasels.com

Changes to our Etsy shop:

Finally, with the new years, there are some new things with our Etsy shop! First of all, if you haven't yet noticed, "Etsy Shop" has been added to the tabs at the top of our Facebook page. Clicking this tab with bring you to our shop, but without leaving Facebook! Thanks to this new app, you can see what new additions there are to our shop simply by hopping over to our new tab. Next, I would like to announce that around the 1st of February, we will be adding some new items to our shop. I'll be adding around 15 prints in three sizes to the shop as well as a listing for our limited edition prints of A. Wier's "Leopard Study". We will also be creating some listings offering commissions of various sizes. The commission listings will be base costs to start these commissions, and final costs will be decided when the project has been started. For those that have not seen it, our Facebook page us www.facebook.com/weaselsoneasels Our shop has also been removed from Vacation mode, however any orders made before January 17th, cannot be shipped until January 17th. I apologize for any delays this may cause.

Changes to Facebook's Page Policy:

Finally is another quick note about Facebook's updated policies. Facebook is changing the way and how often posts of small businesses are seen by their viewers. This is their attempt to make us small businesses buy their "post boosts" just so that those who have already liked our page may actually see what we post. I think businesses should have to pay to have their post showed to those that already want to see them, but that's one of the new policies. They even have a list of keywords, so that if you use one of them, they reduce the views even further so. If you enjoy seeing our work and would like to see continued updates, there are a couple things you can do. First, look at the top of our page and make sure you have clicked follow. Also, if you like something you see, be sure to "like" and "share" it. For almost 200 likes on our page, an average post that has no engagements from the public, will only be seen by about 15 people. Each like and share almost doubles this. A post that has even only 3-4 likes and shares and a couple comments is seen by around 150. A little bit does a lot for sharing our work with the world and supporting us.

As always, thank you to all of our followers for your support in the previous and coming year.

From everyone at Weasels on Easels,
Happy New Years and we hope you had a wonderful holiday season!
