Haha it's only 9pm but it feels so late due to the short days, but they'll be getting longer now.
I don't really celebrate any Holiday, my usual Christmas goals are:
1. Find this one very specific version of A Christmas Carol
2. Drink whisky
3. Listen to sad Christmas songs ("Blue Christmas", "Sleighbells and Wine", "Last Christmas (I Gave You My Heart)"...okay that's it really.

Bonus round is making cookies, listening to this cheesy Christmas mix I downloaded in 2011, watching too many holiday specials, and chilling to WQXR; and I have visions of sombrely looking over Rockefeller Center like all the cynicism in the world is feeding me. Haha, I just think being sad on Christmas is kind of Romantic? Like being sad and scared and knowing that there are three more dreary months of winter.
I guess it's also why I get this perverse yearning to go to Midnight Mass and get really Catholic about everything. Ahahah, I was never baptized and the first Catholic mass I went to was my brother's wedding, so it's pretty shallow of me.

I think my "gift" this year will be adding everyone on facebook.

Anyway, what are people looking forward to this 24th+25th? What is your favourite TV special, or do you have a special song or tradition that you like, or like to think you'd like to do? Or you know, talk about whatever...
