Open Projects

Open Projects are tasks / pictures I would like to have made, but as they have a lower priority, I haven't commissioned anybody with it so far.
Sometimes they are about a topic / content which I found no artist for so far or which I would enjoy giving into the hands of a new / younger artist to try.
As they are of low priority, I have only small funds allocated for them, about 10 USD / 10 Euro per item.

Asgardians:

Asgardian Shuttle; either in space, upon entry into Midgards athmosphere, or appearing out of the siphon-airlock of a habitats hangar.

Asgardian Ferry; either during acceleration, in low orbit over Asgard's surface attaching containers to it's spines using it's waldo's, or gliding into a space habitats dock.

Asgardian City Class Vessel; either pushing slowly through an asteroidfield just using it's maneuver-thrusters, or riding on a gleaming pearly line of nuclear explosions to the stars, or in orbit , transferrign freight from two ferries.

Odin Habitat; hovering majestically in space, a fleet of pygmy drones attending to the large solar panels whilst a group of ferries alignes to enter the central spindles docking facility for unloading and refitting.

Reich:

Aerial Vehicles of the Reich:

Geier ground support / strike craft ( "Vulture" ); basically the Reich's equivalent to a USA / Terran A-10 Warthog, but with a STUKA as it's ancestor. Shown in flight low over the trees, or circling a target on the ground and firing at it with it's turreted bow gun, or pulling skyward after dropping it's payload of Napalm / Hellfire bombs.
Geiner are 2-man crafts ( Pilot, Gunner ) and there is a 3-seated trainer.

Manta Heavy Airframe; AWACS surveillance and rocket launcher platform / orbital interceptor ( "Manta ray" ). AWACS version carries an AWACS-Like radar-disc on its back. Normally a formation consists out of 5 Manta's, one of which is the radar carrier and the others are weapons carriers which then lift their noses to the sky to fire their heavy rockets from their under-wing-carriages or their internal storage bays.
An impressive picture would be an awacs version flying away from the viewer in the middle of the picture, crossing the viewers FOV, whilst the following rocket carriers lift their noses skywards, one of them already firing a volley of heavy rockets, with an Asgard shuttle riding on its smokey-firey rocket trail trying to escape into the star-dotted blackness of the stratosphere above.
A Manta has a 7 man crew ( Pilot, Co-Pilot, Electronics/Engineer ; AWACS: 3x RADAR operator, C³-Coordinator ; Rocket-Platform: Weapons Engineer, 2x Gunner/Missle-Controller, C³-Coordinator ).

There is a "civilian" version of the Manta heavy airframe, named "Harpy". "Civilian" in so far as it is carrying only very few, weak weapons, and is otherwise mostly a cargo aircraft. The aircraft is even larger than a Manta, extending it's wings and using more fuel efficient piston engines. It's airdefense consists out of a group of 2 to 5 Geier attack fighters which the machine can refuel in mid-flight. The Harpy can coast without it's engines, and it's pilots are trained to use thermal upstream to keep the slow machine in the air perpetually like a glider. A harpy can carry a Scorpion class vehicle ( E-10 chassis; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entwicklung_series ) plus a platoon of soldiers with gear and supplies, or a full company of soldiers. Like all machines of the Reich the Harpy doesn't need a prepared airfield, every sufficiently smooth surface like a beach, glacier or meadow will do.
The Harpy has a 6 man crew ( Pilot, Co-Pilot, Electronics, 2 Engineers plus Cargomaster/Gunner ).

"Stachelrochen" Orbital Interceptor and gunship ( "Stingray" ). It carries a streamlined flat turret on its back and one on its belly. The upper one carries a 30mm machine cannon and a railgun firing fingertip-sized slugs which ionize the air when being fired with several times the speed of sound, the lower turret carries a 50mm autocannon. The railgun can be used meaningful only high up in the athmosphere, where the projectiles are then capable to reach targets in the orbit ( typical prey: Asgard's OWL satellites ).
Depiction would be, for example, appearing from a cloud from under the cover of metallized chaff, diving after an Asgardian shuttle in descent with it's characteristic meteor trail of superheated air, it's heavy guns firing airmines ( mid-air-exploding shells, Flak ) at the shuttle which tries desperately to loose enough speed to open it's airvents to start become maneuverable an start it's air-breathing ramjets to escape again to orbit.
The Stingray is a 3-seater ( Pilot, Electronics, Gunner ; latter two seated right and left behind the pilot, back to back ).

• Skorpion (scorpion) class E-10 vehicles ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entwicklung_series ), such as engineer vehicle, space surveillance vehicle ( mobile radar ), troop carrier, all-terrain cargo carrier, battle tank, mobile rocket artillery
• Spinne (spider) class E-25 vehicles, such as medium construction vehicle, battle tank, heavy air defense / ground support vehicle, mobile orbital rocket defense, mobile orbital railgun defense
• Hundertfuessler (centipede) class E-50 vehicles, such as heavy construction vehicles, artillery & air defense ( gun, rocket, heavy railgun ), battle tank ( heavy railgun, large bore gun, experimental laser ) and ground support ( sonics, directed radiation, flame thrower )
• Tausendfuessler (millipede) class E-100 vehicles, such as automatic infrastructure builder ( "Railroad-tracks and roadway" builder-on-the-go, provided by the Asgard habitats ), Orbital Control monitor ( dual heavy railgun-turret or rocket-launcher plus radar and secondary close-in defense weapons), or submarine mobile ore harvester. The latter two are the Reichs secret modifications of the "excess deliveries" of Infrastructure builders, as the Habitats industrial capacity produces large machines by the day, not by the week or month, a miscalculation the Asgardians still chew on.

Sultanates:

Pictures from cities of the amazones and fennekim. There are many towns, most in desert-steppes, but some are also in the mountains, there are a few on the coast, and most if not all are on rivers.
